The Agency for the Development of the Information Society - ADSIB, as of April 9, 2018 will provide a new payment option in the service of registration and / or renewal of domain names .bo with the use of the Payment Code of Procedure - CPT, through Banco Unión S.A.

What is a CPT?
The Payment Code of Procedure – CPT, is the identifier of a registered payment process, the code is twelve digits in blocks of four numbers, with which you can make the payment in Banco Unión S.A.

How is CPT generated?
During the process of registration and/or renewal of domain name after entering the data for the invoice the system generates a debit note that contains the Payment Code of Procedure – CPT.

How to pay with CPT?
With the Code - CPT, you have several options to make the payment or transfer through the different channels of Banco Unión S.A.

• In UNINet and UNIMovil in the option Payment of Procedures - Payment of State Procedures, enter the CPT.
• In boxes, with your ID card indicate that you will make Payment of State Procedures and show or indicate the code – CPT.

The payment through the code - CPT is safe, fast, modern and reliable.

The Agency for the Development of the Information Society in Bolivia (ADSIB) as administrator of the .BO domain name service, communicates that from September 1, 2016, the new fee for restricted domain names gob.bo, mil.bo and int.bo and the new category of .bo domains, which by their characteristics and uses acquire the denominative of social interest. The importance of this measure is that it opens up the possibility for various sectors to have a presence with Bolivian identity on the Internet, with a one-time rate of Bs 55 per year. The goal is to achieve greater democratization in access to the service of ".bo" domains and thus reduce the digital divide. In this sense, the ADSIB will implement this new category that is aimed at all audiences, i.e. it can be requested by natural or legal persons.

The creation of the domains ".bo", of social interest, has the approval of the Telecommunications and Transport Regulation and Control Authority (ATT), the most important points are detailed below:

• Tariff increase of restricted third-level domain names for the registration and maintenance of Bs.- 280 to Bs.- 500, except the .edu.bo domain names. except for .edu.bo domain names.
• Second-level domain names .bo maintain a maximum cost of Bs.- 980.
• The third level domain names .com.bo, org.bo, net.bo and tv.bo maintain a maximum cost of Bs.- 280.
• Domain names of social interest will have a maximum cost of Bs.- 55.
